“Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, push in the right direction.”
DNA team extends a great thanks to all the Bosch experts who volunteered to mentor our startups in the Cohort 1.0. All incubated startups had a great learning experience from mentors and we celebrated this by calling it ‘Mentorpreneur’.
A glimpse of celebration is here:
First Indo-German Startup Boot Camp
The first Indo-German Startup boot camp was themed on the renewable energy sector. This joint venture of GIZ India, Social Impact and Bosch was hosted at Berlin, where 10 startups were selected and invited to pitch their ideas and business models to the corporates. The startup boot camp was a fruitful collaboration where the sessions were moderated by mentors and experts from Bosch, SAP and Social Impact. Furthermore, the startups got the chance to exchange ideas with each other and extensively harnessed upon the cooperation opportunity.
Second Indo-German Startup Boot Camp
The theme for the second Indo-German Startup boot camp was mobility and transport. The venture was conducted at IIM Calcutta, where 5 startups each from India and Germany were shortlisted and invited. The teams enhanced their business plans and products while being mentored by experts from Social Impact, Bosch, IIM Calcutta, TATA Elxsi and WRI India. The boot camp was prolific as the participants got to exchange ideas with each other and explored opportunities for collaboration.
